Our Forget-Me-Not Dementia Campaign see's support from Christmas in Stanningfield
Thanks to the kind customers and the hard work of the Duchesne family this Christmas our Forget-Me-Not Dementia campaign received a lovely boost of £264 to help continue the work with our dementia patients in the West Suffolk Hospital.
Richard and Sue Duchesne hold Christmas in Stanningfield every year and sell their beautiful trees along with lots of other festive goodies and Sue's mum is always on hand to serve coffee, mince pies and her famous shortbread to their loyal customers for a donation to charity.
This year the family kindly supported our Forget-Me-Not Dementia Campaign and so we invited the couple in for a cheque presentation and to show them our amazing Memory Walk.
The walk has proved so popular with patients, their families and with our staff and we are always thrilled when we walk down it to see people stopping and talking about all the images on the walls. It really is an opportunity for people to talk and reminisce, something we all love to do.
Thank you again to Richard, Sue and their family and to all the wonderful customers who supported them over the festive season.
