My WiSH Charity thank their wonderful fundraisers
My WiSH Charity hosted a thank you evening at Ashlar House to thank their supporters. Speeches were made by some of their inspirational fundraisers including Mark Dean and Frankie Fraize who make up Thetford 93, passionate community fundraisers from Thetford, Darlene Ablitt from Sudbury who paraglided off the French Alps after recovering from breast cancer and Andreas Wales, owner of Keyway Locksmiths in Bury who rode his motorbike from the Hook of Holland to Lithunia to thank the critical care unit for caring for his neice Charlie.
Sue Smith, fundraising manager, said “We are so lucky to have such wonderful fundraisers and supporters who help us enhance the care of patients at the hospital. We wish we could invite every single one of them but sadly that just isn’t possible. This evening is just a small way we can thank them for all they do”.
