All roads lead to Nowton Park for annual dog show

Bury Dog Show purple backgroundDo you have the most handsome dog? Or have you got a pooch with the waggiest tail?

If so get your pet along to the annual Bury Dog Show which is taking place on Sunday, at Nowton Park, in Bury St Edmunds.

The My WiSH Charity, which supports the West Suffolk Hospital, is organising its third annual show with a host of prizes to be won.

As well as the classes and agility fun there will also be craft stalls, pet stalls, food and drink, plus bouncy castles, face painting and human hamster balls for the children.

Visitors can also go walkies along the free Tail Trail in Nowton Park and all profits from the event go to My WiSH.

The various categories include most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, prettiest eyes, waggiest tail, best family dog group, dog owner lookalike, best doggy trick, cutest puppy under 18 months old, golden oldie, the dog judges would most like to take home, the best young handler, champion of champions and the Mischief Dachshund Dash and all judged by the vets at Moreton Hall Veterinary Centre.

The day, which runs from 10am to 4pm, is sponsored and supported by Unison and Mischief Doggy Day Care.

Admission is £5 for adults, £2.50 for children and £12 for families.
