Leading Bury solicitors support hospital through Mad Hatters fun day
A family fun day with a difference has been organised by leading solicitors to raise money for West Suffolk Hospital's Neonatal Unit.
The 'Mad Hatter's Garden Party' is the brainchild of Gross & Co in Guildhall Street who have chosen to support the West Suffolk Hospital Charity this year.
A fun dog show, falconry display, themed side shows and musical performances are all attractions of the event which takes place on Sunday 7th September at Moreton Hall Community Centre.
Graeme Kirk, senior partner of Gross & Co, said: "All of us at the firm are delighted to be supporting the West Suffolk Hospital Charity.
"Working with the charity fundraising team through our various initiatives has made us appreciate the diversity of care provided by the hospital and the extra funds needed by specialised units such as the neonatal unit. We hope the event will be a fun day for everyone."
The event starts at 1pm until 6pm with the fun dog show beginning at 2pm. Performances by the Spring Community Choir will fill the air and a dance display with a twist is sure to entertain. Entry by prize programme is just £2 with children under 16 going free.
In addition to the fundraising event, the firm organised a 'Wills Week' at the hospital earlier this year, offering staff the chance to have a will made in exchange for a donation to the Charity.
Dave Gooderham, Fundraising Manager at the hospital, said: "Everyone at Gross & Co have been great friends of the hospital charity by supporting our fundraising efforts to further enhance the care we offer to patients and their families."
"The Mad Hatter's Garden Party will be a great event for all the family and in support of our wonderful Neonatal Unit."
