Patient televisons for the Critical Care Unit
Donations in memory of a much-loved fire fighter have seen his family raise £2,800 for West Suffolk Hospital’s Critical Care Unit.
The family of Michael Zarych wanted to say a special thank you to the hospital unit after they cared for the 65-year-old before he passed in June.
Speaking on behalf of the family, his son Jon said: “The support Dad received from the Critical Care Unit was second to none.
Hayley Gilbrook, Professional Development Nurse in Critical Care, said: “We would like to thank everyone who gave a donation in Michael’s memory.
“He was obviously a much-loved man. We would also like to thank his family for thinking of the Unit in this way.”
The money will go towards purchasing patient TVs in the Unit as well as improving other facilities for patients.
