My WiSH Charity Soap Box Challenge
Soapbox is back for 2019!
Saturday 31st August,
10.30am - 3pm
We are back for the second year hosting our Soapbox Challenge on Mount Road in Bury St Edmunds and this year our main sponsors are HS Direct and Treatt, so a HUGE thank you to them both!
Did you love the good old days of making a go-kart from pram wheels and a wooden crate with your mates? Would you like to recreate those days with an added flair? Then this is the event for you.
Year two is going to be bigger and better with more thrills but hopefully not too many spills so come and join us for a fun day for all the family.
Compete to be:
Best Soap Box
Cover with your company logo, paint in your team colours, the world is your oyster!
We want costumes, we want dancing....even if it's like your Dad!
Fast but safe please! Brakes MUST be installed on your soap box.
We will be installing more obstacles in 2019 to make your journey down a little more fun! You have been warned!
We are adding a new category this year and will be presenting a trophy to the team who raise the most money for My WiSH Charity. Click here for more details.
Huge thanks to Aford Awards who are kindly sponsoring this years trophies.
Don't want to build a soap box but want to be part of our great event? We are looking for sponsors and advertisers so if you are interested please email email@example.com.
The team fee is just £100. Please note, this is nonrefundable and your place is not secure until we have received payment. Click here to download the registration form
Rules and regulations
Unfortunately we need rules to ensure a safe event! Click here to download them.
Click here for all the instructions and dimensions of your soapbox and the clothing you MUST wear if you are the designated driver and/or passenger.
Spectators and Soapbox City
Spectating is free but we hope you would like to make a small donation to watch your crazy friends launch themselves down a hill in a glorified go-kart! Event programmes will be available on the day for £5.
All soapboxes and teams will be based down at Soapbox City at the Priory School who will be selling refreshments to raise funds for the school. Please feel free to wander around and look. The teams put a lot of hard work into their soapboxes and we know they would love you to see them.
Please note: We cannot supply parking for spectators but it's just a short walk from Ram Meadow car park or the Moreton Hall Community Centre to Mount Road.
For more information about our fundraising please contact the team on 01284 713466 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So what are you waiting for?
We are limited on team numbers so make sure you book your place today. It's a great event for friends, for family members or a fantastic team building challenge?
Go wild, go wacky, be creative and most of all have FUN!
